
Martin Stepanyan
Martin joined TK & Partners in 2017. Martin’s areas of specialization include a wide range of public and private sectors such as Corporate Finance, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Corporate Restructuring, Contract Law, Litigation and Arbitration, Intellectual Property, Data Protection, and Natural Resources Law. The majority of his clients are IT, High-tech, and FinTech companies.
Throughout his working years at the firm, Martin has provided comprehensive legal assistance relating to the incorporation of the 1/3 of investment funds of the financial market in Armenia, legal advice to IFIs on a considerable number of loan transactions (particularly "going green" projects and sub-loans), as well as legal consultancy concerning the issuance of international debt instruments (Eurobonds) and derivative instruments (ISDA/CSA).
Martin has been very active in the working group of large-scale law amendments regarding the domiciliation of regulations regarding digital law, data privacy, E-Commerce, and Electronic Transactions.
Martin has LL.B. and LL.M. degrees from Yerevan State University. Currently, he is finalizing his Ph.D. in the field of Mining and Extraction Law. He is also an adjunct faculty both at his alma mater and the French University of Armenia.
