
Suren Baghdasaryan
Suren Baghdasaryan joined our team as an intern prior to earning his law degree. He currently holds the position of a senior associate.
During his time with us, Suren has assisted both local and foreign clients operating in a variety of industries, such as finance, IT, construction, mining, utilities, healthcare, education, AI, and sports. However, Suren’s key practice has for a long time been the assistance of financial sector entities (local, foreign, and international financial institutions. Suren is particularly specialized in international master agreements, such as the GMRA, GMSLA, and ISDA MA. He has co-authored some of the industry opinions for Armenia.
Suren also has vast experience in administrative law matters as he advised and represented public entities in administrative litigation. Currently, he also works with our telecom team and advises on a range of regulatory matters.
Suren has earned his LL.M. degree (international private business law) from the French University in Armenia. Currently, he is attending the RA Advocate’s Academy and will earn his advocate’s license in 2024. Other than his native language, Suren has professional fluency in English and Russian and is also competent in French.
Suren used to be a professional tennis player before choosing the path of a lawyer.
